I took Mary Ann Moss' class
Remains of the Day for making a fun
different journal. But I never really
knew what I wanted to put in it. I decided
that some off it, maybe all would be things
I find around Wildflower. So here
are my first 2 pages which I did in
watercolor and pen and ink of what is
blooming right now. It was fun to go
all over the property discovering
wonderful little plants popping up.
I shall have to date these pages for
reference sake.
My EDIM will be back in a day or two.
In the mean time check out Mary Ann's
class if you like. She is great fun!

I have been intrigued with Mary Ann Moss and her eclectic style for a long time now. Remains of the Day just fits so much of all that we have around us. Love the little drawings of what you saw popping up around your property. Happy Hearts are Creative Hearts...

I see you are at it again -- drawing every day. Good for you! I keep saying I will start some sort of journal and will do so for a day or two or a week or a month and then it gets forgotten again. I've wanted to collect little treasures on my walks and paste them into a book but that doesn't happen either. Your drawings are very sweet. Hope all is well and you are having a great week. Tammy

Fun to date the drawings creating a perfect history of your own world. We do this with calendar entries, but it is not the same as this at all. Just lovely.

What a lovely idea, especially adding dates and you can compare years to come.
Dear Sharon - this looks like the kind of journal I will love...I too have been trying to draw and paint different flowers that are blooming in mine as well. Alas I have fallen behind!! Hope you will draw the ones I haven't!
