Some people would say my
painting has gone to the
birds.
I would have to agree! I have been
busy painting mobiles.
Each little watercolor birdie has six coats of
varnish on each side. Carefully put on I
might add. They are so sweet blowing in
the breeze.
Sorry not a great picture.
Also finishing up more gift cards.
It is pouring rain so I am getting a
lot done in the studio.

The bird mobile is darling!
The birds are so pretty! I'm still 'on the road' in Calgary airport waiting for a connecting flight that is delayed. I hear that it is storming at home - I will get wet looking for my car!
What a fun idea! 80 elk, amazing! I've never seen that many all at once. If it'd only quit raining, we could drive up that way......
Oh my, isn't this rain amazing? We can barely hear each other talking because of the noise of the rain hitting the skylights - unbelievable. We are settled in for the evening - bread is baking and rain is falling.
Your birdies are the perfect bright spot for such a rainy day - and lovely note cards.
