I'm in shock having just read this! I thought he was coming along fine after his surgery but alas it was not meant to be.
My heart goes out to you sweet friend - I know there will be a big hole there in your heart for a while but, if it is any consolation, time will heal. I know as I've been there too.
Keep creating as that is what he would want too.
