I was working in the yard and this little lady caught my eye. A sure sign of Spring coming soon.
Back in the house, I just had to share my orchid with you. Every year it starts to bloom at
Christmas. Well this year it has just kept on blooming. There are now 30 flowers on it.
This one has been blooming since last March when a girlfriend gifted it to me for my birthday.
I spent some time in the studio making (playing) backgrounds for some future art.
The sun is out and shining bright so I shall be in the yard.
They say we are to get some snow over the weekend.
I sure hope not.

Sure sign of coming spring even if you do get some snow, which, as you know, is poor man's fertilizer. What beautiful, happy orchids! Are you singing to them to keep them so happy? Lovely backgrounds you've been creating, too.
I love your backgrounds! did you paint them? I have been making paper this morning. Have a great day!
Wow, and double wow! Whatever do you do to them to get them to rebloom like that? Here I though I was good to have ONE bud open.....
Haven't seen crocuses in our yard yet, but we do have pussy willows.
That orchid is gorgeous, so absolutely white....... Here spring is also in the air, although we had no winter at all. I don't like snow but now i am longing for a little bit.......
Lovely Orchids. I have never seen one with 30 blossoms at one time. I love flowers as they are such a gift of happiness. Your backgrounds are beautiful. We got rain...wonderful wet rain. Enjoy your sunshine and gardening dear...
I'm amazed at your orchids - I hardly know anyone who is able to get them to bloom from year to year. They are beautiful.
