Saturday we drove up to La Conner to see
the gorgeous tulips.
They did what they do every year.... make me ow and ah.
The colors are fantastic, especially against the mountains and blue sky.
Row after row! I was told that they shipped out over 21 million bulbs each year.
We dined on the deck of one of my favorite restaurants. What a perfect day.

Ah Sharon - it does look like a perfect day. Those red tulips are so stunning and to eat on the water in lovely blue skies and sunshine makes one's heart so happy. How are the boys doing? That certainly is a beautiful day. How lucky for you to see these fields of tulips in the flesh. One day I will too. :-) Not sure where but I will.
